Paul Pogba, the French midfielder who previously made his name at Juventus and Manchester United, recently shared an update on his career after nearly six months without a club. Despite his long absence from professional football following the mutual termination of his contract with Juventus, Pogba remains determined to return to the pitch.

Pogba had his doping ban reduced from four years to 18 months following an appeal last October, but that didn't prevent his reunion with Juventus from coming to an early end due to other issues.

In the past few months, Pogba has been linked with a return to his former club Manchester United, as well as Marseille, where he could play in his home country for the first time. However, with Pogba spending a lot of time in Miami recently, speculation has been growing that a move to Major League Soccer (MLS) could be on the cards. The Saudi Pro League has also emerged as a potential destination for the 32-year-old midfielder.

Pogba took to Instagram to reassure his fans that he is "hungry" to play professional football again, saying, "This is just a little message to show that I am still hungry for the comeback. I have been training on my own, but never giving up and always chasing my dream and what I want to achieve."

He added, "Just a little message for all of you guys that right now, you don't get what you want, but just keep trying, keep pushing until you get it. It might be tomorrow, it might be in one year, two years, but what is going to happen, is going to happen, so let's go. Big up and I will see you very soon."

Pogba’s recent career has been marked by injuries, suspensions, and his long absence from football, leading to just 12 appearances in almost three full seasons since leaving Old Trafford in 2022. His last appearance for Manchester United came more than a month before the end of the season due to a calf issue. His return to Juventus, where he made his name between 2012 and 2016, was delayed by a knee injury, which kept him sidelined for six months.

Pogba was then dropped from the squad by Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri over disciplinary reasons, and his first start since returning to the club in May 2023 lasted only 23 minutes before he was forced off due to injury. His last appearance of any kind was as a substitute in Juventus' Serie A win over Empoli in September 2023, and he hasn’t added to his 91 caps for France since March 2022.

Despite the challenges in his career, Pogba’s desire to return to the football field remains strong. With time still on his side, fans are hopeful that he will soon find a new club and showcase his talents once again.
