Pontianak – In the spirit of Ramadan 1446 H, the Pontianak Police (Polresta Pontianak) and Bhayangkari demonstrated their compassion by distributing social assistance to Putra Orphanage on Jl. Alianyang Gg. Kurnia, Sei Bangkong, Pontianak Kota, on Monday (March 24, 2025).
This charitable activity was led by Police Commissioner (Kabagren) Linda Herlina, S.H., who represented the Chief of Pontianak Police, Senior Commissioner (Kombes Pol) Adhe Hariadi, S.I.K., M.H. Several Pontianak Police personnel and Bhayangkari members also participated in the event, bringing joy and support to the children at the orphanage.
In her speech, Commissioner Linda Herlina emphasized that this initiative reflects the Pontianak Police’s commitment to caring for those in need, especially during the holy month of Ramadan, a time of blessings and generosity.
“We are here to share happiness and provide support for you all. We hope this assistance brings benefits and blessings to everyone,” said Commissioner Linda Herlina warmly.
The donations included essential goods such as rice, cooking oil, sugar, instant noodles, and other staple food packages. These were handed over directly to the orphanage management to be distributed to the children residing there.
